PIPE BEVELLING SYSTEM
The PHYTON bevelling system is developed as a portable device for cutting pipes and tubes and for preparing welding surfaces on pipes and tubes. It is preferred for an easy operation, reliability and generous power portions for machining tubes with wall thicknesses up to 12mm/80mm. The essential advantage of PHYTON pipe beveler is its clamshell design. You can split the frame for two halfs and instal the PHYTON wherever in the continuous length of the pipe line (ES models). The PHYTON is an outside clamping machine with clamping by concentric, self-centering jaws, outside the tube (ESC models). One half of the ring is fixedly clamped to the tube being machined, while the other, rotating half of the ring carries two tool-holders equipped with automatic feed. The automatic feed makes machining thick-walled tubes highly productive and comfortable. The machine can be used only for cutting the pipe, or when using a bevelling tool, for simultaneous cutting and bevelling of the pipe in a single working cycle.
